ESI unveiling expanded suite of LED manufacturing systems and applications
At booth 5871 (North Hall) at this week’s Semicon West 2011 trade show in San Francisco (12–14 July), Electro Scientific Industries Inc (ESI) of Portland, OR, USA, which provides laser-based manufacturing solutions for the microtechnology industry, is showcasing its expanded suite of LED manufacturing systems and applications. The firm claims that its new products deliver the industry’s highest-light-output LED wafer scribing; the most advanced LED packaging solution; and the highest-throughput, highest-accuracy packaged LED test.
“In working closely with our LED customers, ESI has developed revolutionary systems that are directly aligned with their production roadmaps targeting the next generation of devices for high-brightness solid-state lighting applications,” claims president & CEO Nick Konidaris.
