Luna and Advanced Photonix complete merger
Luna Innovations Inc of Roanoke, VA, USA (which manufactures fiber-optic sensing and test & measurement products for the telecoms, energy, healthcare, automotive, aerospace and defense markets) and Advanced Photonix Inc (API) of Ann Arbor, MI, USA (which designs and makes APD, PIN, and FILTRODE photodetectors, HSOR high-speed optical receivers, and T-Ray terahertz instrumentation) have completed their merger (which was announced on 12 February).
In an annual meeting, Luna's stockholders approved the issuance of 0.31782 shares of Luna common stock to API stockholders for each share of API common stock they own. API's stockholders approved the merger in a separate special meeting.
